To apply for your Mongolia Tourist Visa you will need:

• Your original passport - valid for at least 6 months from the visa issue date
• A completed and signed Mongolia Visa application form
• One recent passport-sized photograph
• Copy of travel itinerary
• If on an organised tour, a copy of a letter from the tour company indicating the dates of the tour
• Letter of intent for independent travelers
• Intended Mongolian address or contact details of local tour operator essential (This can be your first hotel or local tour company and is required so that if for any reason the authorities need to contact you while you are in Mongolia they have a starting point)
• A stamped self-addressed special delivery envelope

To apply for your Mongolia Business Visa you will need:

• Your original passport - valid for at least 6 months from the visa issue date
• A completed and signed Mongolia Visa application form
• One recent passport-sized photograph
• Copy of travel itinerary
• Letter of invitation from the person or organisation with whom the applicant will be working in Mongolia (please note that this must be approved from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Mogolia)
• Pre-paid, self-addressed, special delivery envelope

N.B. Double-entry tourist visas are available but only where the traveller is making a side trip from Mongolia and returning to Mongolia within a short time as part of one journey. A double-entry visa cannot be used to make two separate trips to Mongolia.
