Canadian Parent and Grandparent Super Visa
If you are a parent or a grandparent of Canadian citizen or a permanent resident you have an option for visiting Canada and staying with your family for up to 24 months on each visit. You may be eligible to apply for the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa. This visa is valid for up to 10 years and allows you to remain in Canada for up to 24 months on each entry without the need for renewal of your status or applying for a new visa.
Even if you do not need a visa to visit Canada, you may still benefit from the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa. Citizens of certain countries like Ireland and UK are visa exempt and are allowed to visit Canada for up to 6 months on each entry. If you would like to stay in Canada for up to two years, you may obtain a Parent and Grandparent Super. You will also need to meet some specific requirements.
