Australia Employer Nomination Scheme

The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) is a permanent residency visa that allows Australian employers to sponsor employees who are foreign nationals for a permanent visa to work in Australia.

There are 3 routes to obtain this visa:

  1. you have worked full-time in Australia in your occupation on a temporary residence visa for the last two years prior to the visa application being lodged (including at least the last 12 months with the nominating employer), or
  2. you have been nominated to fill a highly paid senior executive position with a salary of more than $250 000 per annum (excluding superannuation or allowances), or
  3. you have your skills assessed as suitable by the relevant skills assessing authority and have at least three years full-time work experience onshore or offshore in the occupation before the visa application is lodged.

The ENS is at the top of the priority processing list. The current processing guideline is that this visa will be processed in 4 - 6 months from date of lodgment* and you can add dependent family members to your application.

If you are currently a Working Holiday Maker in Australia or your Working Holiday visa has expired within the last 4 weeks you can lodge your ENS visa onshore and get a bridging visa which will allow you to stay in Australia till your ENS application is finalized. The bridging visa will have the same terms and condition as your current one.
